Oltre - @alisa_vongola
I shoot on film, paying special attention to the organization of space in the frame. Light and Venetian fog often help me with this. On foggy days the island is cold, and it takes me several minutes to compose the shot. I tried to capture a seagull in the frame for about 10-15 minutes, holding the camera in one place, and my fingers were freezing. When I was already desperate, I decided to take a picture without the seagull—and at that very moment it flew past. It was accidental and therefore perfect: the composition, the direction of the wings, the point on the corner of the tower, the contrast—the seagull gave this frame more than I could have.
From Italian, "oltre" translates as "(to pass) by/(to move) pas" or "beyond".
