While learning Spanish during the four years I lived in Barcelona, I also began to understand Catalan.

The privilege of living in the Born district gave me the opportunity to appear almost immediately in places where things were starting to happen. And so, after just a few months, I knew that this was something that interested and intrigued me - the desire and aspiration to be a separate country. And, at the same time, the love simply for one's little homeland - a street/district/town.

Barcelona and its people will always stay in my heart. Also for the fact that my daughter was born in this wonderful city.
