Since 2020, for nearly four years now,
Israel has been witnessing intense social struggles, demonstrations, and protests over the country’s identity and future.
Throughout this period, as a social photographer, I have been consistently documenting these protests nationwide.
As a woman and an activist dedicated to advancing women’s rights, I have chosen to highlight the role of women in these movements and their prominence as leaders of the protests. They are at the forefront, leading protest organizations, holding positions of authority, and being visible on every front. They chant through megaphones, carry signs, and lead the public with unwavering determination and strength. In the past year, we have witnessed the presence of women in the struggle for the release of hostages in Gaza—mothers and sisters who have become symbols, leading remarkable protests and demonstration.
