My father was born in Morocco. My grandparents (born in Algeria) spent a long time back in the 50's around Oujda but I never managed to understand or decipher much more about it. I know what grandfather worked as a builder. My grandparents would never talk about their life in Morocco. They never shared memories and they kept their treasure chest into their graves and didn't leave anything to build on. So going to Morocco to make photographs is way for me to create a storyI was told, to fantasize about what it means to have lived and wandered there, to hang on souvenirs from a past I but can only imagine and build in my head...
