The serie came from an observation : the mutations of the wall in front of my Parisian apartment. The wall is located in a large isolated street and attracts the desire of a lot of different street artists. At the same time a panel in the center of the area clearly says “not intended for free expression”. That’s why the all wall became the theatre of continuous cycles of creation and disappearance of graffiti, repainted with regularity with white color. During the transaction ( which may take few days ), just before the wall turn completely white again, graffiti are transformed into abstract paintings,sometimes even more interesting of the originals themselves.
