My series, "Corridors of Light," grapples with the authenticity of relationships. As a migrant, my journey has taken me from Cambodia to France, then to the USA, Canada, and back to France, resulting in numerous separations.

I envision the city's illuminated corridors as acts in a theatrical production. Pedestrians become transient actors, entering and exiting the city's stage. I've forged a unique connection with these fleeting strangers, brief stars in the city's performance before vanishing into the shadows.

While the vertical frames capture scenes from North American cities, the negative spaces within these images hold deeper significance, symbolizing both the unalterable past and an uncertain future. The darkness are beyond shadow; it is void as the memories of me in the minds of those I left behind…

In today's world, we often inhabit tight spaces, surrounded by bustling cities and influenced by social media, which can create an illusion of having a multitude of global "friends." Yet, I often question who truly accompanies us on our life journey. Can relationships withstand the barriers of distance and the daily shadows that cloud our lives?
