These are both sides of the Channel. These are beaches and seasides the face the same narrow tongue of water, that divides the North of France from the South of Great Britain. They relate to different cultures, different countries, and not least differente weather, sometimes. It's kind of funny to see how things can look quite different to the eye of the beholder, and literally what's North can become South, even if, at the end, they are all facing the same water. I tried not to exacerbate those differences, instead I mixed them up, trying to achieve a blended rapresentation of reality. Documenting beaches where the sun is not burning 24/7, the water is cold, and wind can throw sand into your eyes, notwithstanding, people enjoy them, do their best to build their creature comfort and simply enjoy life their way.
