The Pacific Coast of Colombia is one of the wettest places on earth. The clouds sag like a water ballon filled to burst.

I’d been drawn to the shoreline for its raw drama, and the beached ship was becoming a motif. The vultures were clustered together, when this dog came into view, followed by the motorbike, and I took this frame, creating the motif. The shell and the boat, as the only two static components in the image framed the moving parts; for a brief moment the elements aligned.
