Here is the Yamuna, pulsing through the heart of the city. Without her, there would be no Delhi, new or old. She’s what defines us. For centuries, the river is the parentheses that have held together the honeycomb of Delhi’s streets and dwellings.

‘Life on the riverside’ is an ongoing project which explores the everyday life on the banks of River Yamuna as she meanders through the city of Delhi.
